Conservatories

There are many types of conservatories
and all different shapes and sizes of conservatories are constructed
in a similar way. You can also choose different colours. Planning
permission may be required but this depends on the size. It is
always a good idea to inform your local authority of the work you
plan to carry out. We can liaise with them if required. The construction of a conservatory is in many stages. The first stage would be to prepare the area ready to mark out for the footings which would then be dug out to the required depth. Then the concrete would be set to the required level for the brickwork. Following this the brickwork would be constructed then the over site would be stoned up and the floor can be concreted. Then the conservatory would be constructed and sealed. Once sealed the electrical work can be started also any under floor heating if required. Afterwards would come the plasterers, decorators and the electrician again for any final touches, ie plug sockets, light switches. The conservatory would then be ready for the floor to be laid, ie tiles, carpet, laminate and then is ready for use. |
